I'm Ed Hunsinger, a 28-year-old East Coast native who now calls San Francisco home.
I can't remember using a cell phone that wasn't a Sidekick and I've been a Sidekick user and part of the online community for years.
I'm responsible for multiple Sidekick-fan websites and you may also know me as "divinity" on the poweredbydanger.com forums.
When I'm not sitting in front of the computer, I'm probably out playing with fire as part of Interpretive Arson, a Bay Area based group of fire artists. I'm a seasoned traveler who loves new places, music, photography, and desert camping.
Favorite Sidekick? The Midnight Blue LX.

As I’m typing this, Cat Power is on stage singing to a packed house. Luckily I’ve got the all access pass that gets me up on the balcony over looking the stage. Perhaps the best seats in the house. Thanks T-Mobile!
They’re also giving away a Sidekick LX (don’t know if it’s blue or brown, but who cares, right?) in a raffle at this show, so if you make it to a show, keep ahold of that ticket!
I’ve never been to a concert that had so many people typing on their phones. I almost got runover by a guy trying to text someone while he was walking. Oh and there are video cameras all over the place, so there should be some good video up soon. Be sure to look for yourself if you’re here. I’m taking pictures here and there. The one here is of Cat Powers performing. It’s dark and everyone is moving around so much so it’s hard to get good pics. I’m sure the Cobra Snake will have better ones.
Ok, what am I doing on my Sidekick, there’s a party going on here! Ed signing out till later.-Ed
I’m in town Chicago people! Although by the time you probably read this I will be back out of town, having enjoyed my evening back in Chicago and looking forward to New York. I’m checked into a swanky hotel room, right off Lake Shore drive, on the lake itself! Well not literally on the lake, but you know what I mean. I can see the John Hancock building out my window and am watching the city traffic pass by out my window. This is apparently how the VIP roll with T-Mobile. If you haven’t entered to win VIP status, you should get on that. I don’t know exactly what they have planned for the winners, but I’m sure it’s going to be pretty cool.
As for me, I’m off to find some delicious food in Chicago. Should I try the deep-dish pizza? or perhaps a famous hot dog? Then it’s off to the Vic to pick up my ticket and into the show! Hope to see some of you there.-Ed
Whew, almost didn’t make it to Chicago! I missed the BART train to the airport by 1 minute, but grabbed the next one 15 minutes later. I looked up info on the flight from my Sidekick to see what the chance of my flight being delayed was. Not very good, it showed that it was more often on time than not. I literally ran through the airport to check in and get through security, because I wasn't going to miss this trip. Luckily I made it on the plane just in time and even managed to score a window seat by swapping around with some people on the plane.
We took off and banked over the gorgeous waters of the Bay and headed off to Chicago, crossing snowy mountains, dried lake beds, and lots of clouds. The window seat was kind of pointless once my view was nothing but white clouds. I spent some time transferring songs to my Sidekick so I could listen to Cat, Colbie, and John. I've found I have a strange addiction to Colbie's song "Bubbly". Just can't get it out of my head. Hopefuly she'll sing it tonight at the show. Uh oh, the pilot says we're about to land, time to turn off electronic devices!-Ed
Looks like Miami's performers have been announced! Kat DeLuna, Ozomatli, and Pitbull at The Fillmore! How can this not be a good show, right? Every time I tell my friends who I'm going to see next, they always seem to respond with "No way!.... Can I come?" and I tell them they should have gotten a Sidekick so they could be in our little club and get access to stuff like this. It's kind of weird to think I'll be traveling across the entire country, from San Francisco to Miami, to go see a show at the Fillmore. (For those that don't know, there's the world famous Fillmore here in San Francisco) Needless to say, I can't wait for some great weather, good music, and meeting more Sidekick fans. I hope I can squeeze in some beach time somehow.
If you haven't gotten tickets for this show, you better get on it! There's only so many people they can squeeze into a venue and I'm sure these tickets are going to be in high demand. The T-Mobile folks tell me that you should check with the nice people at the follow stores:
1. T-Mobile Miami Lakes 17748 NW 57TH Ave Hialeah, FL 33015 305-512-9322
2. T-Mobile Hialeah 775 West 49th St Bay #3 Hialeah, FL 33012 305-698-7998
Be sure to be nice to them like your mother always told you, and keep your fingers crossed that they still have some tickets left! Hope to see you guys there!
